20V RWD cooling kit

Post by Sam-Q »

This is my long running cooling kit to drop a 20V in any RWD:

OK now the main part is the rear bypass plate:

Sensors installed and with optional heater barb:

Custom order for turbo water return:

The side block off plate:

Comes with Silver Zinc coated high tensile bolts:

Top water outlet:

Bolts right into head as one pre-assembled peice.

-These bolt right into the engine in a quick and easy process without any mods to the engine. However the idle control valve will need to be moved down one position if a heater is still used.

- Lot's of room between the rear bypass and the firewall.

- No unpleasant external water pipes

- Proven design used by myself and others for many years on and off the racetrack.

- The rear and front parts use the original bolts/nuts/studs.

- Choice of heater use or not.

- Rear bypass suits the shape of the head and is a very solid part.

- Suits original water pump front and rear half and a common external thermostat out of an ae82/93 corolla.

Questions welcome.

This is one AWESOME price seeing that most water line relocation kits cost in the upper $500 to $600 range. SO being at 190 is a very good price!
Only on the internet could a man spend a lot of time and effort doing a high quality job only to have everyone rip him a new hole for not having the same exact taste as everyone else.

thanks DjSpecter, I know I can sell them for much more but for now I don't. I like selling something that works and is affordable. You see I loath seeing external water pipes on 20V RWD conversions.

yeah no problem. Unlike the SS works and the T3 kit I really like the RS Chita kit. Their top outlet is a work of art.

assuming that question was aimed at me, I amke my kits to suit the standard two halfs of the 20V pump. The top outlet does not have it's bypass facing the right way to suit a RWD pump although I could plug it up easy enough.

I dont mod either of the water necks, bottom one is reused as is and the top one is thrown out.

Assuming I had some ready it takes about a week and a half with normal post to arrive there if I had some ready. Seeing I need to cut some more out it would take a little longer.
