OK so ill start this off with a story, for those of you who are just that bored that you actually want to read this stuff, instead of just scrolling super fast and looking at pics.

I had an awesome street GTS, full interior, stock 16v high comp, and some great suspension. it was a load of fun but i wanted to go faster, much faster. and i really didnt want to F up such a nice GTS, so i decided to start with a bare chassis and build up.

Ran into this bad boy, got it for cheap, it was owned by papa gushi and was seam welded at gushi auto. ive heard stories from other people that this car once had a 2jz in it or something wicked like that. makes no difference to me, its a solid chassis thats all that matters.

So my original plan when i got it was to do a 7ag 20v hybrid of some wonderkind. but as i looked into it, a 1uz became very tempting. so after long consideration, the 1uz is just going to be the best powerplant for this application. so ive got lined up:


Engine:

1uz ( mostly stock)
w58 trans
celica supra rear end

suspension:
unknown ( kinda want some pass racing bits)
honda rue FC brakes
kosei K1s

other funs parts:
sparco rev and pro 2000
sparco wheel


its what ive got piled up so far. ill post pics in the reply. ill change this as i go.

Day 1

So i bought this car 2 years ago. had it for a few months, then my father destroyed my home and everything i owned, so i had to move in with my g/f after i lost everything, and my large driveway had to go, and thus all my toys. including this corolla.

so its been in a friends back yard for 2 years now, and today i brought it home.




so finally home i gave it a good hosing and washed all the dirt off it.

and i couldnt help wanting to see what the wheels would look like on it.






So rolled it into the garge and took an assesment of what i had ahead of me









so i went at it, i threw in a few parts i had, some shocks and end links, put my new wheels on it



and as im playing around, my friend asks me

" hey mikey, what are these stickers on the back that are painted over?"

Idk?

"i wonder if i can sand the paint off and see what they are?

sure whatever


ten mins later:





JDM trunk or somethin? dunno why you would paint over that..


so the brake master and clutch master were rusted shut so i pulled them and removed all the decals.

then got bored and had to dream



garage drifting



at the end of the night this is what i left with, no decals, sitting a little lower and wheels on. looking not too shabby.
