Re: balance without weight
Sweet I have a use for my bucket of unused air soft bbs!!!
I like cars, food, and puppies.
Re: balance without weight
anyone ever try this? I work at a shop and could try it if no ones done it yet.... I'm kinda nervous about it the idea of having 3.5oz's of bb's in my tires lol.

Re: balance without weight
i'm willing to give it a "shot" too... sorry, i couldn't resist an opportunity for a bad pun.
Re: balance without weight
wonder if the air soft bb's would melt in racing applications though.
Re: balance without weight
Also a concern of mine, I just cant imagine this would work in every application. I mean hitting the twisties would cause a lot of lateral G's as well as the consistant rotation force. Seems like that might cause turbulence in the tire. Maybe I'll try it on my pickup first...85levin wrote:wonder if the air soft bb's would melt in racing applications though.

Another old trick is lead 'shot' for shotguns...
Or you could use Copper BB's.
Not an uncommon old trick (especially for 4x4's with super swampers).
