overboost = fuel management probs.

The 4runners have that prob even after a 7th injector is installed.

Upgrade to a underdog FM system and itll solve your probs.

a twin charged setup isn't "rare" just not commonly done.

the way i understand twin charging is turbo and sc now if you guys are talking about something else that's another thing.

The U.S. 4AG-ZE in the MR2 developed 140HP with the supercharger and with strictly bolt-on modifications produced 188HP. There was available a Twin Charger kit from HKS that developed 210HP and after further modifications produced in excess of 350HP! Also available was the HKS 5AG kit (not a Toyota designation), which included a stroked crank and over-size pistons for 1720cc.

ok. the kit makes it easier for the customer but it's not necessary if you want to put one together. the issue is synchronizing the "hand over" so to speak chores in the fuel management. like relay racing: the passing of the baton to the next one in line.

anyway...sc for out of the gate response and turbo for full on power after the launch. no lag anywhere. at least that's the goal.

for now, i'll keep with the KISS philosophy.

yeah they dont make the kit anymore but I think thats what landslide is talking about using and if so its just a bolt on kit. I know you can do it yourself Im just curious where he found the hks setup because Ive heard they are very rare
