Progress!
As you guys know I was talking about turbo charging my frankenstein 7ac creation I have finally made some progress on it.
I made my turbo manifold, carb box, and oil drain bung built and installed. I still need to buy some more parts and I have to wait for the money to come in so I can finish it But here is a teaser in the mean time.

Alright, cool Bobby. So you're going to go ahead and seal up the carb for a blow through instead of a suck through type. Good deal. Hadn't heard form you in a while. Glad to see you're still at it. You'll have to tell us how you do the throttle hook up with little to no air leak(s). Also, what type of floats are in your carb: brass or that hard black plastic type? I believe the hard black plastic types are the ones to go with a blow through carb. Don't quote me on that though.

Re: Building a 7ac
Yea its been a little bit Im always so broke in the winter so I tend to not do to much and If I log on there
is always something I want in the for sale section lol but I'm still working on it :]. I was fortunate and the
weber I bought already had a brass float in it, as for sealing the throttle shaft I have no idea what I'm going
to do. Im planning on just trying it and seeing how bad it is to start with. I know I have read some people leaving
it alone and working without much of a problem although thats prolly not going to happen.

It still has a small boost leak and the carb is not properly jetted yet but Its on the right track now

Re: Building a 7ac
So I got really tired of having issues with turbos and tuning and bought a 1uzfe.
my 1uzfe fresh out of the ls 400 I pulled it from.
I removed the stock transmission and bell housing.
Removed the 7ac.
installed my mk4 supra w58.
( I still need a mk3 shifter)
My friend Clayton putting the motor in .
First time in its new home.
Transmission mount.
Its still going to be several months before the car is put back together and on the road.
I need to clean the engine bay up hopefully stich weld the chassis find a suitable rearend
add a fuel cell and wire the engine up.
