dayum this thread blew up so it only effects low end then i think imma going to put it back on that way i can maybe make it legal. at least untill i get more upgrades then it might come off again

ok so i got all the gaskets to put tvis back on so now all i need is the time which is hard to get now a days but thanx to all for the input much appreciated

i am also wondering if removing the egr is a bad idea since with out tvis the pipe that runs to the intake mani wont line up

thats what i am thinking, ga-goosh just rip it off it's just usless emmission controll crap. people take them off all the time you dont have to worrie about anything just good luck on getting that 20+ year old rusty bolt loose off of the header i hurt my shoulder for a week trying to get it loose.

yeah I found a allen bolt that fit in its place on the header and just made a block off plate to go on the intake mani

it was gone when i got my car. but the previous owner gave me every thing that he ripped off of it in a box in the back so i am wondering what to put back on and what to get rid of since i have a shed full of this kind of stuff plus i just want to pass emitions legaly for once in my life. stickers arnt cheap especialy if you dont pass and mine does out next month

if you want to pass then just run it... if not then just go no egr and straight pipe

i know that but i figured since i am putting tvis back on then maybe i can put the egr back on since it doesnt fit without the tvis plate but i will prolly just go with out it
