water neck seal??

is there an o-ring or some type of sealant that goes here??

it's leaking when i started to put coolant in it when i put it all together i didn't notice like there should have been something there but maybe i over looked something @_@

O-rings top and bottom. It's easy to check, just unbolt the upper waterneck and you can slide the pipe out. If the o-rings are old replace them.

Do NOT use sealant.

thanks yea im going to take it apart tomorrow it would be nice to get the new motor going already it's been headache city with that thing but it comes with the territory (old cars n all)

Yea its a o=ring. I changed mine out a while back. Found a box-o-o rings at lowes for water heater parts that fit perfect. It was like 2 bucks for the box.

Another thing to check would be the condition of the bypass pipe. Check both ends for excessive corrosion. Too much and even with new o-rings you won't get proper seal. Echoing one someone else advised: Don't use sealant as a replacement for the o-rings.

yea i'll check out lowes if i have to do you have a pic of what the rings look like themselves?? in my kit it came with some but i just want to make sure
