here's a suggestion:
if you're determined to run the 4ac i recommend fabricating up an intake manifold that will accomodate dual 40mm mikunis/solexes, etc...etc...
i've got a set of 40mm mikunis specifically made for toyotas back in the day. i can trace out their mating flanges and send them to you via snail. i'll even mic the id of the flanges and jot them down on the diagram too for you.
any machine shop can make them really easily. shouldn't be expensive.
then get the appropriate tubing and form accordingly & weld.
i suggest creating a heat shield out of 16 gauge aluminum to mount to the bottom flange bolts to shield the carbs from the header since they're both on the passenger/right side. the S30s incorporate the same shield for their triple webs/miks since both in/ex are on the driver/left side.
nothing bigger than 40mm, seriously.
this will require an fpr and hi vol/low press electric fuel pump i.e. mallory, holley, carter (highly recommend the carter). just reference the carb setup in the tech section.
that's a start.

This is a lot better idea than keeping the stock intake manifolddr.occa wrote:here's a suggestion:
