I got mine and it was a totally different car.

While your at it, get adjustable gears as well.

+1 on the nst pulley's cams will make more of a diffrence than exhaust but dont get crazy retarted big cams because they will make the power band retarded

the NST pulleys are a good option.

umm, don't get "big" cams. they'll take away the streetability of the car and the power will be isolated to a narrow upper power band. cam gears are only necessary if you pick up aggressive cams that need to be dialed in. unless you're skilled in degreeing cams, then you'll most likely be taking the job to a tuning shop and that's extra money to consider on top of the cams and adjustable cam gears.

if not the pulleys, then consider getting better rear shocks to replace the not so great ones "a friend" recommended .

i'm eyeing some 12 ways at a GREAT price to almost finish up the 79 corona.

agreed on the cams, I would settle with a 277 or 282 cam, no bigger. Still has a great sound, but still good power range. If you get it from schneider it comes with assembly grease thats really handy.

Not True^.

forced induction on any engine raises the tuning difficulty of any NA engine.

it's not cheap to turbo/supercharger a car. depending on the engine and the targeted HP, it may require upgrading the entire rotating assembly, re-inforcing the block, bigger injectors, stand alone ecu (NOT CHEAP), possibly upgrade the valve train, correct fuel pump, upgraded adjustable FPR (necessary), BOV, Waste Gate, intercooler, charge piping, correct turbo, turbo cooling lines either oil or water, manifold, downpipe, upgraded clutch assembly...it's not a simple affair. detonation is all the more possible and quicker than you may know.

the same amount of money spent on getting 200+ hp NA on the 4AGE will net you way more hp taking the Force Fed path AND the car will most likely still be streetable. a 200+hp NA 4AGE, don't bet on it being streetable anymore.
