do you have 12v at all four injectors?

figured out the issue with the injector plug not pulsating the injector now there is fuel on the spark plug in cylinder 2 which is good news

but now found out there is no compression in cylinder 2 :cry:

have been told it could be a valve that's stuck? gonna look into it more tomorrow when theres daylight

What condition were the engine mounts in when you replaced them? Did you replace the transmission mount as well? Is the transmission crossmember secure? That motor is rocking an awful lot in the cradle and I can only feel that it is not properly secured.

engine shaking was due to running on 2 cylinders when i changed out the resistor the shaking pretty much stopped now i have a new issue

i doubt its a stuck valve. this rarely happens and even more rare on stock parts.and if it has its from being overrevved or improper assembly. if its not a head gasket id bet on the rings being toast. if its a rebuild make sure the top two ring gaps are 180* off. also if its a used motor make sure you turn the motor over with the head off and visuall check the cylinder walls for carbon build up. when the oil controll rings go it will carbon foul the cylinder wall causing a lack of compression. i had this issue with my 4ag when i first got on here you may find the post.the motor built compression on the gauge but it was a different story when running it ran like yours did but you could here a missfire and smell the richness of the unburnt cycle. i kept chasing a rich missfire issue that ended up being a compression issue. once i pulled the head for the second time i turned the motor over and found the issue with the oil controll rings on number 4. damn i need a leakdown gauge.

yea i rotated the engine by the crank and none of the valves seem stuck open but i would assume if the rings were fried wouldn't the car be throwing out a bunch of smoke when it's running?? the headgasket is fine

no. if the cylinder is not firing the oil wont burn. my rings where shot and there was no oil smoke. im sure it smoked up untill the point that it could not maintain compression and a solid burn though.and if i let it run for a half hour or so id bet it would start to smoke as the oil made its way to hot exhaust section. i never ran it that long. yours should be putting out some fuel at the tail pipe though. maybe a little puff of black smoke when you rev it being that its only running on a couple cylinders.
