Couple ice race vids

I broke my swift very early in the season so I drove a buddies AE92 Altrac wagon.I ran it in 6 races on 2 different weekends and won all 6,not a bad record.

I'm car #34 starting on the outside of the front row,

In car from a race later in the day,gets a little boring since I'm leading but I soon catch up and start working my thru the lapped cars.Forgot to turn the camera off,youtube didn't load the edited version so fast forward to about a minute thirty and turn it off when the race is over.

Thanks,too be fair I was running in the second driver street stud class so there were rwd and fwd mixed in.They race for their points in class and it doesn't matter to them if I pass them.My job was to keep the turbo gtx,talon tsi,imprezza etc BEHIND me with a 106hp(when it was new 300k ago ) corolla wagon.

I like awd so much(I'm a former awd champ but haven't driven one in years)I'm going to turn the geo into an awd monster by mid mounting the R1 from the open wheel car in the middle and using it to power two chain drive diffs,I think I can get it down to about 1500lbs with awd and it'll have 160ish hp(before boost) with 12,000rpm and sequential gear box to play with.
I'm hunting down diffs now to start the conversion.

From what I could tell, you looked pretty consistent at each corner setup and entry on each lap I was paying attention to. Impressive driving under pressure Tom.

Thanks Jonas,wasn't as consistant as I'd like but considering I'd never driven it before I'm happy enough.The car kinda needs total commitment at corner entry or it would rivert to understeer mid corner,I set the car up for the owner last year so I guess its my fault.

With it not being my car AND the owner riding with me I was actually driving pretty conservative,more aggressive corner entry drifts and the car would be quite a bit quicker thru the middle of the longer corners.

I'm very excited to build the swift into an awd weapon,if I get the set-up figured out it will be a blast to drive.
