rear coilovers
rear coilovers
so i know how to convert the front strut housings to coilovers but how do you do the rear? i have looked this up but all i can find is the t3 site that sells the already converted struts and the sport compact car magazine article that shows pictures but doesnt talk about what to use to build the rears
here is what i can find:
http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/proje ... index.html
http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=655
so i was wondering if any one on this site knows what to use to build these and where to buy the parts to do this? i like to do this kind of stuff and if i build the fronts then i want the rears to match. any input will help thanx

I saw some guy on somewhere use a hole saw and cut his spring perches and weld in adjusters. let me browse around and see if I can find it-

are you talking about front and rear? cuz 54 years with rears is good enough for me to go by especially if you dont have any kind of bracing for the strut topsdr.occa wrote:my car's been running on a unified coilover/adj. shock setup for the past 5 years. no problems with the suspension. just with the engine
