Correct Chris. Scion is Toyota just like Lexus is Toyota. In Japan any and all Scion models are badged Toyota i.e. the Scion xB in the US is actually the Toyota bB in Japan.

Scion is yet another marketing branch employed by Japan to target the younger demographics in the US as Lexus is intended to appeal to the US' older and "affluent" demographics.

I had always thought that the new 86 was going to be originally released through Scion anyway with the intention of making the model attainable for the "younger" crowd.

not true. just got my cusco lateral bar in from Japan last week. Im spending money on it, ive just slowed down alot. lol
