Yep.yotarolla wrote:is that a sidedraft carb set up?
It's an "F"-3TC...(F=Filthy )yotarolla wrote:...what kind of engine is that?

well I know on the 4ac it only requires one vac line going from the carb to the dizzy, everything else can be blocked off. not sure if its the same for the 3tc but I would think it would be very similar if not.

I just noticed your pic shows that u have it set up pretty much exactly like I was saying, lol. I would just try changing which two are connected to each other, and just systematically see that way which set up works best, hopefully that works.

lol @ mdf spacer. (Not knocking it or you, just amuses me)
Get a box of wire size drills from a hardware store. Measure the tube/vacuum port and drill a hole in the manifold with a size a atleast 2-3 thousandths smaller to make it press/lightly hammer fit. Probably best to start 5-10 thousandths smaller and work your way up in size.

Ah no that actually isn't mdf Andrew. It looks like it but those are phenolic spacers I carved out of some phenolic slabs I have laying about.assassin10000 wrote:lol @ mdf spacer. (Not knocking it or you, just amuses me)

The vacuum should be right by the throttle plate opening for the initial vacuum pulse.
