Isn't St. Arnold's a give in?
I like the Christmas Ale and their brown Ale.

I think this calls for a St. Arnold's 86Garage meet in the very near future.

I would have to agree.

Re: B33R N3RD'5
I would like to come try this St. Arnold's, I've had beer from a few different micro brewery's and I love it especially brown Ale's and IPA's
Re: B33R N3RD'5
if anyone is ever in Pagosa Springs Colorado there's a great micro brewery there called Pagosa Brewing Co. the guys there are really cool, my G-paw Dad and I went in there to get a pizza because they also make really good pizza, anyway it was kind of late at night and there was a game on so the bar was packed, we sat down and all ordered a different beer, I got one of there IPA's, so were sittin there talking about a poster that's hanging on the door to the actual brewery part of the building and it said something about tours of the brewery, it said out they only did tours only once a week and the one for that week had just gone on earlier that day, we all said "dang I wish we could have gotten a tour" then these two guys come up behind us and ask if we wanted a tour. Needless to say we had a great time.

Re: B33R N3RD'5
Well, if you would like to come to Houston before the 8-6-11 annual gathering (3rd annual one for 86garage) then we can put one together. We have a few friends from Houston240sx that came to our little impromptu 86garage St. Arnold's get together and they've continued to go regularly once a month. They're always up for going more than once though.

Re: B33R N3RD'5
lately my thing is to go to either a nice ritzy Kroger or World Market and see what they have... they will let you mix and match a 6 pack for like 9 bucks at Kroger and 12 at World Market.... I try alot of new beers that way, and some I tend to like.
Lately it has been like Brooklyn Brown, Spaten Oktoberfest, or beers of the like. I will drink a bud light if I have too... but thats about as cheap as I can drink.
I also like the hard ciders, with Ace Pear being my fav. Fox cider is a good alternative.

Re: B33R N3RD'5
Irish Death huh.
I like dark ales. I was pretty dedicated to Guinness but finally had some Murphy's several months ago and have been sold ever since.
Currently liking this:
out of 5
These went fast at this past Independence Day celebration. So did the Murphy's!

if anybody wanted to try that irish death i'd be happy to mail a bottle (paypal is accepted)
off the top of my head its only sold in 20oz bottles at the stores, and growlers can be had at the brewery, unsure of price on those though......
oh also had one of these.
stuff was pretty good, brewed in salt lake city, was given to me and was told its a "mormon" beer.
