Question on Motor Re assymbly
Sorry, but its been a while since I pulled everything apart, and now that Im finally putting it back together Ive forgotten how it came apart, lol
anyways, i cant figure out what goes in these two holes...
I found what I think might go there...
The bolt i put in the right hole has the smaller bolt inside of it jammed down tight to seal the hole. I checked my 4AG pdf manual and it shows a line going from the oil filter nozzle to that spot. Do I just block that hole like i have it in the second pic and use the nozzle by the oil filter to go to the oil cooler?
Thanks

Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
well u got it ones for the oil pressure and the other to let the water out...
Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
Ok, great. I had no idea there was some sort of release valve/screw thing for water on the block.
Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
yes i think is to get the air bubbles out... But now that i see your it looks like ur missing a little spout that points downwards so that water does not spray every were...
Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
Guess it might be a good idea to point that nozzle down then on mine, instead of up, LOL. I don't think that would be the refreshing blast of water I've been looking for in my hot shop.
Is that line to the right of your release valve something I should have ?

Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
the hard metal line goes to the oil cooler dont know if its the same on yours since the motor i have i pulled out of an mr2....
Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
Ya, sounds right. I was seeing that line in the drawings of the 4age manual, but I think its the mr2 motor theyre basing it off too.
Thanks for the help.

Re: Question on Motor Re assymbly
actually tex you had it right. the oil pressure sender goes in that hole and the other port is blocked.thats how it should be. joel yours is probably an aftermarket oil pressure sender.
