Re: 2AZ-FE
I'd prefer a 2RZFE. It's already proven to bang out power and it's already an FR set up with established after market support.
Re: 2AZ-FE
ive seen some crazy tc turbo setups at turbochargers.com they say they hold up pretty well. but if ur leaving it stock they make like 163 :/ thats alot of work for under 200hp.
Re: 2AZ-FE
With the 2RZFE or the 2azfe. and now thinking about it the 2RZFE would be better because im guessing you can use the full swap from a tacoma right?supra_750 wrote:ive seen some crazy tc turbo setups at turbochargers.com they say they hold up pretty well. but if ur leaving it stock they make like 163 :/ thats alot of work for under 200hp.

Re: 2AZ-FE
Or even some of these crate motors from LC Engineering:
3RZFE built for power!
2RZFE built for turbo!
3RZFE built for power!
2RZFE built for turbo!
Re: 2AZ-FE
i think i would like to try that swap in the 86 with a small turbo setup. i would say about 1500-2000 to have that engine in the 86
and like you said dr.occa this would be much better then a 4age and a t50
