Ok so this guy at work Would not leave me alone about wanting to run . So I really want to shut this guy up.. I have a zex nos system that's just sitting at the house .. I would like to put this on my 20v silvertop with a blacktop ecu and stock truppets I . Now I'll be putting on my stock airbox for this but what do you guys think . I can't find nothing on anyone doing it on a stock 20v. I had it on a hatch civic h22 and it would fly... And just in case you guys want to know what I'm up against it's a 2011 gmc 5.3 single cab stock.. So as long as I can run a 15 sec 1/4 I think I shut him up.. Let me
Know What you guys think or should
I just shake him off ...
Is it safe to run nos on a 20v silvertop?

your car can't run a 15 second quarter as is without N2O? Hmm must be a heavier car

i mean, i had a stock 20 valve with SDS and stupid bolt ons that ran a 15 flat 1/4 mile.
i wouldnt run nos. imo nos is pointless. build the engine up boost it, cam it whatever but i wouldnt run nos but thats just me.

well if the price of nitrous is anything like here then it's a very expensive power boost

Anibal, I'd leave it as is for now. I'd shake him off really. Just enjoy your car for a bit. We'll get the HOU 86garage members together and have some dinner and good beer together.
