Please Help! Re: 16v parts working in 20v block

Post by mr2rudy »

I'm new to 4age's so pardon the dumbness of my question. I have a complete, stock (taken apart) mr2 mk1 16v (blue letter top, big port, 3rib block) I was going to start assembling but I know someone selling a 20v block. Question: will all my 16v hard parts(crank, head, pistons, computer) fit into/work with the 20v block? I'm interested in the 20v block because of the under piston oil squirters. I'm not gonna race the car (maybe a little) but turning it into a daily driver (and I'm very hard on my daily drivers. The car is pretty rough so I don't have a big budget on the motor build. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Oh, my exhaust manifold is cracked so i will need to buy a new one of those anyway.
