No spark need help
changed the ecu, changed coil and checked all relays, starting to think its either the igniter or the distributor. does anyone know how the power is suppose to flow through the system, so that I can check for voltage going into the igniter and going to the coil and distributor?

motor turns, and the fuel injectors are firing, compression is good

Check that the distributor is stabbed in properly.
Check condition of distributor rotor.
Check that there isn't oil inside the distributor.
Check that all the necessary connections from the distributor are connected. There are two 2 wire plugs I believe that need to be connected.
Test with a known good coil/ignitor setup from a known running GTS.

I see well if the car turns over then how do you assume there is no spark? If anything if you have a good coil but the ignitor is bad it could burn out the coil so watch out with that. If you can get access to a multimeter/voltimeter then check the ignitor/coil/distributor
recently I had all of those fail on me and had to replace them all

the engine turns but has never fired, I know I am not getting spark because I have tested for it with my spark tester (also by puling the plug). I have checked the distributor, pulled it out and made sure it was stabbed correctly. have new cap and rotor on it, also have a brand new coil.
both the wires going to the coil (+) and (-) are testing hot with the test light, is that correct?

Diggin this up (sorta) from the grave... watch out for zombies now! lol! I'm guessing by now you probably have this up and going...
the wire from the ignitor to the coils should be hot then there should be a 12v power. When it grounds out (through the spark plug) it should drop power momentarily on the ignitor -> coil wire.
Unless this is completely different from a DLI system... can't really see it being much different both have the same concept ... just a little different setup.
