ECU Pinouts for Water Temp Sensor

Post by c4ptiv3 »

finally ready to start finalize the new engine, however, the wiring harness I have doesn't have the water temperature system wires and plug. Mckenney was kind enough to give me that part of the harness but I do not know which pin outs on the ECU plug they plug into, can anyone help me out here?

Old man McKenney still hasn't posted the ecu pinout for you? Man, he's probably looking for his walker.

Here ya go (compliments of Club4AG's reference section):

not a problem McKenney and thank you guys! I have one more question. The sensor has 2 wires but that is only showing one plug, do both wires hook up and if so does it matter which one goes on top or bottom?

That wasn't a very good explaining of the question and I'm not sure how else to word it.

The 2nd should connect to a communal ecu ground IIRC.

Tap the brown wire to either E21 or E2. The green goes to THW on the ECU.
