That's what I did on my ka24 with 300k on it. Pulled the plugs, cranked it over for a few seconds, reinstalled plugs and went on my merry way!

It depends on the state of the internals. The rods may be damaged i.e. deformed, bent. How did water get in: coolant, motor sat somewhere, flood motor...?

The motor may still be reusable depending on the condition of the internals again. It has to be opened up and inspected.

Thats exactly what Will is doing, and it sat BUT nothing was exposed as far as distributor, manifold, starter, spark plugs were in... I don't understand

well..... if these guys don't come this weekend to get the 4age engine I have sitting in my garage currently.... I guess I could sell it and ship it down south. I'll let you know though so don't get your hopes up to much.

any updates? I have spare parts but the motor would need a good going thru... but it'd be on the cheap.
