WTT 91 VW Golf GTi 8v

Post by c4ptiv3 »

Aight guys, I'm looking to trade my 91 Golf for an AE86 Coupe, Cressida, E30 or something equally cool.
I do require the following from the anything you offer.

1. Manual Transmission
2. No Junk
3. Dependable
4. Atleast has rims and lowered

Here's what I've fixed/upgraded in the past year of ownership.

15x7 Konig Candy Wheels(no curb rash)
Brand New Nankang 165/50/15
25mm H&R Spacers (front and rear)
Raceland Coilovers
H&R Coilovers(not on the car, come with the trade)
New Timing Belt
New Accessory Belts
New Plugs
New Heater Core
Polk Audio Dash/Door speakers (complete Re-wire of the stereo system)
MMats 10" sub (blown, it sounds fine just can't crank up the bass. You can thank a friend of mine for being retarded with it)
2x Amps/ 1 for the Highs Mids and 1 for the Sub (brand name's elude me right now)
New Dash (old one was pretty rough, you can have it with the trade)
New Dash insert from Volkswagen (but for some reason the light switch hole is oversized)
New Rear Packing Tray and Rear Speaker Trays
Removed the Air Box and put on a Cone Filter
Re-wired the Taillights(drove it all the way back from Houston with no taillights, also have an extra pair that will come with)
Brand New A/C Compressor
A/C Lines from VWVortex
3 other Brand New A/C parts that I can't remember the name of (condenser, etc.) All that's missing for the A/C to work now is the bracket that bolts to the Compressor that bolts to the other bracket on the engine.
Shifter Bushing Kit
New Custom Shift Boot (Just solid black leather, nothing crazy. Just didn't have one when I bought the car)
Auto Recline fixed on both front Recaro's
I know it has exhaust and I'm pretty sure it has header's but I haven't looked that much into it. I just drive it cause it looks fly.
New Driver Side Axle

The car is in pretty good shape for a 20+ year old car. The paint is messed up in a small spot on the passenger door near the window, it looks like someone touched it or something while it was drying. I'll try to get some better pictures soon, the only difference is that it's lower than these current pics and it has spacers. It does need a headliner and I just found one in Houston for 30 bucks. It also needs door sills and I just haven't looked for them yet since I've been blowing all my money on the AE86 to get it ready to drift.

The car could use some new bumpers and a new grill but other than that it's in fantastic shape. Straight body and reliable as hell. I drove it o SoWo last year and back and I drove it over 100 miles every day for most of this last year.

Also, it has the common ODO not working issue. It's sitting at 119k and I couldn't tell you how many miles are actually on it.

Hit me up if you have any questions.
