WTB oil pressure sensor..

Post by Warren »

Hi Im looking for a missing part for my car. I was wondering if someone might have what I need or if Toyota still carries it? My oil pressure sensor is not on my block.. Its supposed to be just to the left of the oil filter right? There is just a bolt where it is supposed to go. Got any ideas? I dont want to start barking in a new motor with out any oil pressure readings..

thanks

Yeah, I wouldn't want to start barking in any motor without an oil doohickey.

Check vatozone, and advance. Ive got a sunpro in my ford thats pretty visible and I know its probably under 20$

what motor do you have? On all the 4a's I have seen its a hole in the block just in front of the oil filter crap. If you started my car with no oil pressure sensor it would dump all the oil out in a matter of seconds.

Its a 4a blue.. Im at my moms right now where it stays right now and I loosend the bolt on the plug where it looks like it should go (the one I first talked about) and coolent came out so Im thinking that might be for a temp sensor? rember this the left of the oil filter crap. I have this single black wire with a female plug on it and I was thinking it was for a the oil sensor.. Im going to dig around in my fsm for a littel bit and call it a day.. Im a little lost..
