i have a guy here in austin with a 4dr 86 vw golf std for only $95o o.b.o. so i'm probably going to pick that up as a daily and then try to find a project. i just don't really have a place to work on a car or the tools. i would love another coupe. i might pick up another one and start over from the ground up. not sure. i don't know alot about any other car then 24o's and hachi's. 24o's i don't want to bother with. no skill needed to drift, drive, or build one.

Pass on the watercooled VW's if you can. They like making repair bills expensive.

Get a 5M cressida or a Hilux pickup. If you bought a old toyota truck you could have something to carry tires with.

some guy in houston imports is selling a ae86 sr5 in god condition, not sure how much he will let it go for tho

Getting this POS reinforced my hate for ford. Blown tranny, blown U-joints, and the 5.slow is living up to its name.
