New to the scene
Hi all. Have been visiting this site for a while but never posted mostly to not owning an 86 or any other sport compact, the only Japanese (as well as a compact) vehicle i have owned was a 89 Camry that i put 100k on and was at 340k when i sold her, that car made me have some serious respect for Toyota. I have always thought the corolla gt5 was a good looking car, but it wasn't until i learned it was rear wheel drive that i became seriously interested in one. I have owned some air cooled VW's and currently have my first car which is a '69 Oldsmobile Cutlass, i know it might not be what y'all are into to, but it should show that i am not entirely new to mechanics or older cars. Mostly started an account to place a wtb ad for an ae86. I'm in the Houston area and am looking for a daily driver would prefer a hatch but the coupes don't look bad, has to be a standard though. I look forward to joining this community of gear heads.
