new here, from the east coast
hi guys, some of you might recognize me from c4ag and/or ectoyotas.com and if not, i have an 85 hatch with a 20v that is currently in the process of body work. i have 2 kids, 3yo son and a 5mo daughter, married and work as a CNC Engineer. i love making my own parts.
bought the car from a guy in cali, had it shipped to me in NJ about 5+ years back. came with a tired 16v which blew up shortly after getting here, no interior, and a bad rattle can job(and bad attempts at bodywork).
heres how it looked before hopping on the truck for shipment to the ec...
isnt that nice...
rebuilt the 16v, fun little motor...
then gave it a slightly better rattle can job...
then i freshened up a 20v it came with when i bought it. made my own rwd coolant kit...
and dropped in the 20v for the first time. made my own wiring harness, etc. DIY build. long story short, piston rings collaped a year later so time for the full overhaul. sent out the head for port and polish, block and internals went to machine shop. got it back and did the assembly myself.
swapped the firewall out for one not bashed in by po, manual rack swap, etc...
then it looked like this, usdm zenki love...
now this is current.
some of you might recognize me from Jonas's work...
im also a vendor for TOR Parts, and can also get dealer parts at discount. big promotion going on now, so discounts across the board...TOR or dealer.

It runs great, I've been dying to drive it again. It's officially been a year since I took it off the road.

Should have come to the drift event last weekend
