Strong trans can take the abuse. I'm also sure the gearing would be another appeal.

cool so it is a stronger trans. gearing isnt too far off from the t50 either

I remember seeing one of the N2 cars in ae86 club running an fc transmission... this is the first time i've seen an adaptor.

I have the tranny but need a plate to mate to 3tc

I have a few rx7 trannies lying around. You don't have to use a turbo II transmission. All trannies up to an FC will bolt right up (FD's are different). I am running an SA tranny right now because the shorter tail shaft so the shifter is closer to the same position as the T50. Also gearing is closer so it's similar to a 4.77 but you have a tall highway gear.

I do have a turbo II I will sell for like $200.
