Lol yes it is Jonas. when i took off the head, the valve head was just sitting on the hole like it was taking a dump on my crank case area and i was disturbing its quiet time. its a miracle there was not a scratch on the bore wall. i'd have to inspect further for any more damage down below. Well, time for Weisco/Eagle combo package. and full rebuild.

make sure to add a bit of red locktite to the inside of the delrum bushing touching the rack. i had problems with the rack constantly moving about 2-3mm when i would turn. a few mm is enough to ruin your alignment.

this was $ wasted on poor machine work on the head previously pictured. notice the over porting resulting in thin walls eventually leading to cracking which in turn made it easy to poke a hole thru it with a pick.

I love getting heads/blocks back from the machine shop. Almost just want to quickly pull it out of the plastic and clear coat the entire thing and hang it on a wall... lol! It's like going to a spa for engine parts. so fresh and so clean clean!!

last night I got the opportunity to disassemble the block for machine work with the exception of one piston/rod. I pulled the darn thing out the bottom when removing the crank. any suggestions on how to compress the rings from the crank side of the block to push it back thru the bore? I tried two flathead screw drivers without any luck.

I don't think you can put it back in that way. You'll need to get a ring compressor and put back in the top way.
