LOL that is one of the funniest things I have ever seen happen to an AE86. If I were you, Id be proud! thats awesome lol. The headlight circuits on these cars are pretty complex. I suppose I would start with checking all fuses, grounds, and then see if you have a friend that'd let you swap the headlight relay down by the fuse box. Let me know how that goes. If you still need help, Ill see what my FSM says.

^ thanks bro. I actually had to take the 30amp fuse from the fuse box for it to stop.

But yeah it only does it once you put the fuses back in place.

shit sucks, cop pulled me over and asked me where is the parade lol

haha. The best way to fix your issue is to start off by replacing the headlight retractor relay with a working one. Then if that doesnt work, replace the fuze and start checking the wires from the headlights for continuity. That is how I would start. Let me know how it goes.

Awesome! It could be your head light rheostat controller or the re-tractor relay. I'll see if I have a spare and toss it your way to try out. The re-tractor relay is going to be an easy test as it's mounted right behind your driver side headlight - unplug and plug in another one.

There are no spare parts, only unfinished projects.
