About to book a hotel as well. Found Courtyard Marriot for $80 (one King) or $88 (two Queens). It's located off of 35 and is right south of the 290/35 Interchange.

sooooo I hit a little speed bump with the brakes... again ordered them from Texas as it was the best price. Also might be selling that DOM for my roll cage to a friend. Since I don't really want the roll cage to be rushed in the matter of a 2 weeks. Hopefully my friend buys it for what I paid for it... if not looks like the owner has 3 - 20 foot 1-1/2" x 0.120 DOM sticks... Anyways I also got the ring/pinion gears today! So hopefully I'll be on track to be down there in a 2 weeks 4 days... HOPING!

I'm working on my rear end swap too Chris. I've got the 3rd member bolted up and the calipers all assembled. I'm about to pull the SR5 rear out from under the Levin. Just waiting on the rotors and e-brake cables.

yeah.... I'm working on getting the whine fixed :/ I think I might actually have a shop set the diff up just becuase I don't have a lot of ambition to set it up with fear of it whining again.

sad to say I won't make it either... I was gonna roll with Chris. I have things that need finishing here anyway. For the Dallas guys that aren't able to go, we may grill out on Sunday at my place again. Kind of a Dallas mini 86 day. Next year we're having it in Dallas!

Probably won't be as big of a turn out if it is held in Dallas. Instead of being a 3-4 hour drive for most you're looking at a 4-7 hour drive depending on location. Also, where the hell is there to drive in Dallas, lol? Austin really is the ideal place. Centered in the state, good driving roads and good eats. Hard to beat that.

True, but its nice to move around the state year to year. Keeps it interesting, and Dallas has nice hidden roads, if not the high ways make a nice wangan (sp) lol
