So, I was rear ended . was trying to see some pictures , if there is any of anyone who was rear ended in the ae86 coupe or even lift back and actually had it fixed. ill try and upload a photo from my phone

It always sucks to hear about someone loosing their car, and even more so to be the one doing the loosing.
If you see crinkling in the quarter panels past the rear most section of the fender well (even if it is very minimal), then I would strongly advise you to not try and fix it. The way these cars are put together with overlapping joints and spot welds there will be metal separation all the way to the bulkhead/firewall of the car, and it will never be right again.
Another thing to check is for any cracks or buckling in the frame rail or in the seam of the frame rail to the rest of the chassis.
I hope everything checks out and you are able to marry it off to less fortunate front end collision from somewhere.
