Half a liter should be fine. Technically you are supposed to fill it until the oil starts running out of the pumpkin (like a steady stream pouring onto the ground), but that is usually half a liter. I use kaaz lsd fluid and i usually get two lsd oil changes out of the can.

the lsd is going to be given to the guy who is welding and open diff. but if you want we can make a bet for 50 bux that it will last me for at least a year.

yeah and rick has been driving his dd on the street with a welded diff for how long now? have you yourself had a welded diff? when i ask numerous people who have welded diffs and have had them for along time and all i get back is that its good and it never messed up and then a bunch of people saying oh well its gonna f-bomb up your rear end and all this bs who haven't even done it im obviously going to weld it. plus i dont wanna pay money on rebuilds weather i have a lsd or welded differential same shit to me i wont care about tire wear or anything because im going to smoke the shit out of my tires either way. if it does brake an axel oh well i will know for a fact that welded diffs f-bomb up axels and have had first hand experience rather than pass down a bunch of bs.

Yeah I have nothing against the "Welded Rearend" idea, I just think welding is the wrong way to do it. Get a spool, at least then you'll only have a chance to break axels.

its all good im not having a dumb ass weld it im getting plates welded into it by a guy who has been doing it 4 ever. if i end up braking an axel ill just find an mk1 supra rear end and put in an air locker.

welded or lsd, either will work. drifting/racing: expect something to break. you can't have your cake and eat it too.
