Howdy guys I shouldve joined a long long time ago (^_^)

Post by Ricky86 »

Hey everybody,

Im Ricky & seem to know ALOT of you guys :D .

For those who dont, Ive been a 86 owner since 2002 and been Daily Drifter (RIP) board member from the very beginning (2003). So if Ive met you at one point but dont recall Im sorry :P .

Im also great friends with Mike of NST. Ive helped him develop some of his kickass products (EDIS trigger wheel for 86 application plus a few other "goodies" that will be available pretty soon  ). I also help him out at events/road trips/etc. so if you see me say hi.

As for my car I have a 1986 Corolla GTS which I bought in 2002 for 500 bucks. Since then it has changed a good number of times & spent WAY TOO MUCH modding it:

NOTE: November 2005 I had 2 separate engine fires & called it quits on it being my daily driver, so I bought a 2006 Impreza Wagon 2.5i (its NA so its slower than my 86, but 10000000 x more reliable LOL).

I got tired of blue so I stripped it:

Fast forward to 2008 (My car has been down for 3 years come November :( ) :

I still have alot of work to do before it runs again so I'll start a build thread later.

Not trying to derail this, but if you get a spare set of tail, carefully break the outer lens. That will reveal a mirror finish under the lens.

As for the altezza style, im still not sure about it all. Too many people have put them on their honda with a ebay exhaust and now I dont like it anymore. :?
