well im going to get coils once i get a job but itl still take quite a while till i have enough saved up and the bounce in my rear end is f-bombing crazy when i try to do a burnout it gives you that weird vibration in your ears that makes ur ear wax warm and drip out no joke lol. anyways i hear that dropping the car helps the bounce and i am just thinking of cutting the springs just temporally do you guys think that would be a good idea or what? im kind of on a low budget just turned 15. also if anyone knows where i can get a job now at a place other than chick file please let me know i want to have a part time job and do oil changes and just learn and work my way up but would their be a place that would hire me at 15?

don't cut your srings. trust me. when i got my car the guy i got it from, whoever had it before him cut the springs by 75% and the struts blew due to construction on the hwy. so it was bottomed out. it was great for drifting due to not haveing any roll in the body. but sucked for driving because you could feel every little bump and it hurt my back. you can find 2" drop springs on ebay for like $1oo. thats what i'm running with some kyb agx adjustables. its been doing great for me so far.

YES!!! thats what i'm talking about. i tried all of that and i hit a turn and couldn't reach my shifter and the springs made the car dip to much and it rolled over and the exhaust system roll cage didn't work so my car is gone.

yeah, I cut my shifter, its awesome.
I didnt cut my springs, but doubled them up and it AWESOME!!-but im gonna cut them tomorrow so its stiff and low.
My exhaust shoots out the side for less weight and faster escape.

save your money and buy the greddy setup.
but till then double your spring-rate and cut them.

get a 4link to fix your wheel-hop

dont copy me and cut your shifter

build a roll cage out of pipe-cleaners as a prototype

and alex... finish your shower curtain convertible top.

dont get mad because im making you feel like a dumbass.

Be happy because you are learning. Let me know when your out of highschool and have fully matured so I can take you seriously, rather than reading all of this vulgar from a typical highschool kid.

Just enjoy your car the way it is, stop trying to do pointless burnouts, work on learning your car without abusing it because you obviously can't afford it breaking down.

you may want to take your own advice in light of your sarcastic response to his inital post(s). it was rather sardonic and you provoked a distasteful "rebuke" from him.

give me a break.

Alex, you sure have been behaving very angst ridden more often than usual. You're not going to garner any respect this way. In fact, IF you're trying to get some, you're going about it the wrong way. You get it, when you're not looking for it.

T3 coilovers will do. Plus any spring rate you want (but not in half steps).

If I was to spend money on greddy I would just save a little more and get dg5's.....

LOLZ I cut two coils off of my rear springs and it looks pretty sweet. But contrary to popular belief (I didnt know it was popular belief until I read this thread) cutting springs does not reduce body roll. Maybe more than stock but it still rolls like a sob. Save up and get nice susp.

Cut springs on my corolla actually increased body roll and made the car more unstable and insanly more uncomfortable. NO I did not cut them, the previous owner did. My corolla still made horrible wheel hop with the cut springs, it looked ghetto and the worst part was the original suspension from Toyota had been destroyed by some noob that wanted the car to look cool. Not to mention without the proper adjustable 4 link setup your rearend will be sitting at the wrong angle. With my 3rd sr5 ae86 with cut springs it caused me to spin out easyily going one way and it made it difficult to drift the other way... even in the wet. If your going to cut springs ONLY cut the front. The front don't effect as much as the rear. Talk to hvguy on here, hes the king of affordable suspension on this site. Heck he might even do a write up for you. In the mean while go mow some lawns, thats what I did and I wasn't so fat back then either so it was easy lol. Being 15 years old, mowing 2-3 lawns a day would net you some good money.

Sorry I came down on you so hard, and No I'm not looking for respect over the internet. I just really look down upon people that use vulgar language due to their lack of vocabulary.
