ya i know if this car even gets a ding im jumping off a cliff. but yeah i noticed smoke coming out of the exhaust today i told my dad to get it compression tested because the gaskets are known to go out on the 7m but he took it to a freaking tire shop  my dad needs to think sometimes before he does things. anyways if it is out shit i will need to get it fixed but eh its not a big deal clean car. anyways washed it today the rims aren't brown anymore and the car is clean as shit but it got dark only so i could only get night pics anyways ill take some in the morning here is what i have.

<a href="http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/ ... C06682.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/ ... C06682.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/ ... C06666.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/ ... C06666.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/ ... C06686.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r50/ ... C06686.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Nasser, be more forgiving. You have to remember, your dad puts up w/ a lot of crap from you too especially since he's already been through your teen years. Just be understanding and thankful he suffers through the boring as hell car meets. He loves you. I can tell being a father myself.

car looks cleaner than mr. rizvi's.

yeah thats what im doing this weekend changing the oil pan gasket and valve cover gaskets as well as buying a compression tester. but yeah i test drove it (alone) today and i got a chance to floor it and holy hell my i felt my Addams apple went to the back of my thought although this is an automatic it would probably leave my bros 5th gen lude and my 86 in the dust 190 hp is a huge jump from what i have dealt with before this car has some serious balls so yeah. i am curious as to how it puts up with the other 86's in Houston i wanna take it up against wills 86 at one of the future meets just under curiosity to see what would happen. i am debating weather i should throw in a 5 speed tranny or go ahead with a 1j swap in the future after im done with the 86 to make a fun and fast dd   i wanna keep this with interior and black paint with ac and all but just make it a fun dd that i can take around to meets and stuff.

in the process of replacing the valve cover gaskets. it was because of the bolts holding down the valve covers and actually sealing them the ones on the grommets the freaking bolts were soooooo loose u can unscrew them by hand some1 prob took it off before and forgot to tighten it. the spark plugs were like soaked to the top not sure if i should dry it with towel or burn it off. but yeah the gaskets were fine all it needed was to tighten the bolts im 90 % sure but since it took like 3 hours to get it off i will replace them anyways and make sure everything is put on tight and power washed. it got dark and greasy  so i called it a day more updates coming soon with cleaner looking engine.

I'm not a father, but I would have to agree with everything Jonas just said.
