Well to the OP he said he just wanted to compete in local texas events. If he was specific then it would be a diffrent subject. Cause if you look at one of his post he said Bolt in.. then later on weld in. Most autocross events just maily want a main hoop and 4 point. But you have to find out what events you want to compete in and see the minimum cage requirements are. cause some just require 4 point and then some require a 6 point so it gets real real crazy. lol

Ok if your looking for the right stuff and the perfect tube and yes they can pass all the safty regulations here is a site for you.

sorry about not being specific. i want to compete in texas events to start out, but i want to move on further in the future. so i was trying to find out what i needed. thats why at first i was like just bolt in cause i wasn't sure what was required. but if i can get what is needed in all events,(as far as points of the roll cage and door bars ect.) i would get that to start that way i don't have to worry about it later. i'm also on a budget as well. but i want to thank everyone for the help so far.

Just read the rule book.

A bolt in cage will do as long as it meets the intent of the rule, which is to protect ur bootie in case the car rolls over.
