OEM wide fender ? DIY

interesting...so would you take a fender and cut it in half or is it an extra fender bolted to the top? either way i would try to add some metal to make it look like a normal fender. the hacked look doesnt do it for me. id like to see what comes of this

ok this shouldnt be too hard to do. if you could rent a spot welder then it would be pretty quick to replicate. i like the way the last one looks with the split closer to the bottom.

maybe you could cut the bottom part off an old fender and use another non bent fender and make a bracket to space it about 2 inches or so

if i had extra fenders i would do it but i cant even find a replacement drivers fender...mine is cracked at the body line and grabs my door.
