Well I am working on getting a te72 and if I can get it I will get pics up and get a WIP started for it. I have one pic that I will get up as soon as I figure out the easiest way to do that from my newly acquired iPhone.

And if I can get my hands on it, it will be getting the silvertop upgrade, lol. I am sure I will have to use an ae86 trans so some modification will be necessary but the 3tc supposedly runs great so I will rock that till can get everything ready for the swap. And I don't know how all of you feel but I love these corollas more than the 86s

yeah, maybe. but since my wife put a hault to getting any cars right now I don't have to worry about any of it. She said wait till febuary when she gets her next $5500 from school and we get our taxes back and she said between those 2 i should be able to buy whatever i want and swap it, drop it, or whatever else i want.

so with that being said............you won't see any real progress from me till then.

yes and no, to be completely honest with you. as of now, if brandon's TC 7th gen is still for sale in jan/feb i will most likely be buying it. the bigport 16v will get sold, probably with all the s/c stuff and my 20v will get some more work done to it, then i will stick it in there and use all the turbo shit to boost it.

it's all just pipe dreaming right now, but hopefully will have a beastly car by next summer. rather it is fwd or rwd

lmao yes it would, but there is enough stuff on and coming with that car that I could do like i just said and still have enough stuff to gze an ae86

i like fwd and rwd, but really when you think about it, how many race cars are fwd...... the proof is in the puddin!

well as i am sure you can all tell from this thread. i am very fickle, and since i have no money at present time, i do alot of pipe dreaming. hey, gotta do something to keep my mind in the game.

well, as of late, i have changed my mind yet again. but I am still keeping it toyota and rwd.

<enter> 89 toyota cressida with 7mgte, supra 4speed auto trans and supra lsd..... all taken from an 88 toyota supra. the bank turned me down for a loan so hopefully it will still be available when tax time comes and i have money.

i really had never even seen one of these cars otherwise i would have been hooked long ago, they bare a striking resembance to the 88 camry dx that i once owned, but are rwd and have so much more potential.

so, if there is anyone here that is wanting to buy my silvertop, lemme know. I already sold the harness that was made by doug(mr220v) to a guy on CCC(corollacarclub) so all I have left now is the engine itself and a stage 2 trd clutch pack and miscellaneous vsv's and sensors

my number is 405-740-0883, name is levi

well lots of stuff has happened like me losing my job a week ago, and some others. but the thing that brings me back here to update is that a good friend of mine who happens to have 2 86's, 1 daily driver, the other a mildly stripped shell, has told me that if I come get that shell I can have it. And since I have not sold the silvertop yet, you can guess what I am gonna do with it.

So as soon as car is in my possesion there will be pics posted. To the best of my knowledge it needs a rear end, motor and some other odds and ends.

As I said I have a motor, and a stage 2 TRD clutch setup, I plan to run the silvertop on blacktop electronics so I can run open ITB's so I will need an ecu and to get doug to make me another harness. I plan to research but is there any detailed instructions for wiring a 20v into an ae86.

also I need a rear end, any suggestions as to which rear end to use and where i can get a cheap one would be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully I will have this bouncing off the rev limiter sideways in 2-3months

since engine is out I am gonna clean up engine bay and paint it

Input is greatly appreciated
