I guess I'm the salty nutzzzzzzz!!!!

Got a great quote from an old friend of mine that does restorations. $800 to media blast the entire car. Front, back, top, bottom, in and out. I was told by others it would be over $1,000. BUT, I think I will still do it in stages. Hopefully next week the car will go to him, his name is Billy and his shop is called Eviro Clean, and I'll have the interior and engine bay blasted and primed. Then time for roll cage and cleaning up the bay!

Thanks,

Andrew

SOOOOO...I've decided not to build the car for SCCA. There are just certain things I would like to modify or install on this car that I can't according to the H and F Production rules. Instead, I'm just going to build an awesome Corolla and take it to local drift events and possibly NASA events. I hear good things about NASA and the way they regulate car classes more along the lines of weight/hp.

With that in mind....who has a 1UZ or 4AGZE laying around? :)

Yes!

NASA is tops over SCCA in my opinion and Drift events are cream of the crop for fun and excitement factor. :tu:

Thanks! Hopefully, if it is all still there this next week...I'll be pulling the front crossmember and PS Rack :)

It had some Red shocks on the back and a sway bar as well. I didn't think the SR5's got rear sway bars. Might pick that up too!
