Austin is central to everyone in Texas. Houston hasn't seen an 8/6 day either but no big deal. There's no rule that each Texas city can't host it's own 8/6 day each year. Personally I'd prefer to attend a central location where 86 owners from all around Texas would most likely convene. People can make the rounds to the different cities annually as long as an 8/6 day is being hosted there.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing y'all in the coming weeks and I'm going to miss y'all who won't be able to make it (AGAIN ).

Also, i think that there are people out there that will drive to where ever and be fine with it, and there are those owners that won't even come out if it's hosted in their city. Can't win either way. Just gotta say that it's fun for those that make it, and those that dont, just miss out.

I don't agree with this comment really...The Dallas people always have the longest drive...maybe every couple years mixing up the location wont be a bad thing just a thought...I am trying to figure out what I am going to do at this point...the car is ready but with no job idk if I can really spare the funds for the trip and for a hotel...just been a rough couple months for me

yea true i understand where you're comming from it wouldn't kill anyone to change it up i mainly like that it's in atx since i work 14hr days and on a day i work and had to drive out of town it's less tough BUT i do understand the dallas/ftw guys do have to drive the longest, I would like to see one in houston as well but it'd be pretty cool to have a few 86 meets a year versus just one
