i wasn't paying attention when the drivers' meeting addressed this so cut me some slack:
can a team use 2 or 3 different cars through out the season for different course layouts or are they relegated to only one vehicle?
someone with the rule book please expound.

The drivers are the ones who hold the licenses. Therefore, any driver with a current license can drive any car which has a current D1 or FD tech inspection sticker.
For example, joe has car trouble... joe can borrow ted's car to compete this weekend.

ahhh, so then if NST were to have another 86 let's say with an LS400 (1UZ-FE) engine in it for larger courses like the chicago layout, it's a thumbup within the guidelines of both D1 and FD.NonStopTuning wrote:The drivers are the ones who hold the licenses.
