So, I finally got my motor in my car, but fuel pump wouldn't prime, or run at all, so I ran temporary wire to one of my radio wires that would get 12v in accessory and while running.
I used a test light to check my harness back at the fuel pump but just wasnt getting any juice.
Is it ok to cruise around with my pump wired like this until I can figure out whats wrong? I wasn't sure if the pump is supposed to run constantly, or only intermittently?
Also, any ideas on what might keep me from getting power back there?
Fuel Pump Wiring
Re: Fuel Pump Wiring
Is your COR clicking on when you turn the key? If not you can jump it and it may click on. That would give power when you turn the key and provide the fuel pump with power.
