oil pressure sensor not working
a few months back i noticed on the gauge cluster the oil pressure wasn't reading correctly when i had the key on acessory the needle went to full then as i turned it on it drops to empty ended up buying a new one and it didn't work is there any fuse that effects the oil pressure sensor on the block at all?? im stumped

Re: oil pressure sensor not working
You installed the new oil pressure sender and the after market oil pressure gauge and IT isn't working either?
The factory oil pressure gauge is just one wire that plugs into the bulkhead connector that's on the firewall under the hood. That single wire goes all the way to the gauge cluster connector. The sender itself is grounded via the block (which it's obviously threaded into).
If you've installed the new oil sender that came with the new gauge then IT is either faulty or the gauge isn't wired in properly or both.

well i don't see any other way to install it 3 wires one for ground, power and to the sensor the needle moves up when the key is in accessory mode but once it's on it just drops to 0 and my gauge cluster was doing the same thing

Did you by chance get an oil pressure switch and not a pressure sender?
