You'll need an adapter plate. Why not go with an adapter plate to run the RX7 transmission? Then in the future you can run the dog box :)

I'd agree on the Mazda trans. 86boy, Chris Haberman, has a 4ag to w5X bellhousing and he waited almost 4 months if I remember correctly to get it out of Australia. The Mazda one is more readily available.

yea but how much is the adapter going to run me... and i know that FC transmission are good. my buddy is running 650 and its stock drivetrain on a 88 fc.

and the fc is a pull type clutch whats the 86?

Sorry for the crazy delayed response... I just seen this haha!

I waited 4 months from New Zealand to get my custom bell housing from NiteParts. Cost me ~650 shipped.

The FC3S should have a push type, and the FD3S has a pull type. Most FD owners will convert theirs over to the push type to save some money in the long run. Since Pull type clutches are stupid expensive.
