highly doubtful since there's very low demand.

Just got my Toyota COP setup working with a 20v blacktop. IGF goes straight to the ECU (as stated), IGT splices in with the IGT on the igniter and ECU (as stated), power and ground as usual.

I also got the dizzy cap from Performance options ($90 shipped if i remember correctly to Dallas) and there's still plenty of space between that and the firewall.

Just started it up, so i havent had a chance to put the car back together and drive around, but it revs smoothly, and timing is adjusted by rotating the dizzy just like normal. I do need to find a way to set my timing though...

lol that is the hardest part about the COP system...TIMING where do you hook up a timing light? :?

do you have a spark plug wire? you could try to have a spark plug wire between the plug and the coil just to hook up a light maybe

at the very end of this page, it looks like the timing gun is just hooked up to one of the wires going to the plug..now which one, im not certain.

also on:

there are a couple of suggestions. I'll try with my el cheapo timing gun sometime in the coming days, and if it comes down to it, i think i have a buddy with a snap on timing gun.

in the first link it looks to me like all of the wires are in the timing light. for some reason i always thought that it had to be connected after the coil hm thats good to know if it works

but then again how do you time it if it is a wasted spark? wont you get 2 light flashes instead of 1

yea it is either all spark at the same time or maybe 2 at a time not exactly sure but i think it is more likely all 4 at once

just verified with the el cheapo timing gun. if you put the pick-up over all 4 wires on cylinder #1 (closest to radiator) then it flashes twice as fast as a regular system.

i dont think the fact that it flashes twice instead of once really matters as long as the flashes are consistent enough to see.

still no tach though =(

did you hook the tach wire back in on one of the new coils?
