jz transmissions

will a 1jz manual transmission work with a 2jz-gte?
There is nothing 10 shots of Jager can't fix...

dunno never checked but. but they should bolt up as they are the same motor minus some displacement.

see thats what I was thinking... Toyota does love to reuse parts for like 20 years...

usually, A-family motors share similar bell housings, T- family the same, ZZ-family, JZ, UZ, MZ and so on. what may change on the other side of the bell housing is just the gear box (no, not referring to A/T :P).

It's the w58 rite??
I got a friend of mine runnin a 1.5 jz with a w58 tranny
If I'm correct it's the 2j block and 1j head
