thanks thai. i hope so to. the kicker here is ill be painting it.kandys are supposed to be the hardest to lay and offen come out like turd. you cant really tell but in the light the red i layed is stripped. my fingers are crossed.

bt its no issue ill get it out.just more work which is depressing. i actually expected it considering the amount ive found over the rest of the car. but i was really hoping to have this cage in and start prepping for paint.

actually, a bead roller, brake then e-wheel then plenashing hammer. these are my next tools.(unless i find my tig)
the e wheel makes short work on making some flares. and i need the p hammer to get that round transition correct and smooth from rear quarter to the under tail light panel.

i need the brake and bead roller to finish my floor pan. you really got me goin on this four link angle stuff. so much so that i might not go with the stock axle anymore(with wier stuff) and just get a quickchange and refab the four link.

Yeah, get the 4 link angles correct or closer to ideal will improve on acceleration whether in a time attack application or drift application. With that, you'll definitely want stronger axles to hold up against the increased resistance.

thanks danny. you still got my number? i lost yours with my last sim card.hit me up.

jonas,i think im going to do a triangulated three link. if i go with any other rear end besides the stock i will. i just dont think i can pay the money for the weir when the winters quickchange is only 200 or so bucks more.

in other great news progress has began. im still waiting for my dies but i can get some stuff ready to go in. also the die is rated at no greater than .065 and my 2x4 tube is .085. i still got to pree drill the holes anyways and if it wont flare them then o well non flared holes it is. got most of this area of the door threshold area floorpan cut out on one side. ill get both those 2x4's in finish the cage then brace it off and remove the whole floor board trans tunnel in one shot.
