Re: 79 coronnaass
While you're waiting install the rear suspension. Unscrew the bump stops from the car first please.

White!
Re: 79 coronnaass
I tried white plastidip, it didnt look quite good as you can really see the dents on some part, so recoated it with blac, its just for temporary, so it wont look too bad, really leaning towards this color hopefully by this year, needs lower first and moar body work
Heres the color I like .

Re: 79 coronnaass
Do one side at a time: support the chassis on one side with a floor jack at the rear jacking point.
- 1.) Unbolt the top bolt in the trunk area.
2.)Then unbolt the lower mounting bolt (14mm IIRC) and with a prybar or screwdriver (which ever) pry the shock off of the lower mounting perch.
3.)Place the new shock/coilover assembly next to the old shock and adjust length of new assembly to match the original.
4.)Then shorten the assembly from there to desired length i.e. 1", 2", etc...etc...
5.)First bolt in the top of the new assembly into the chassis.
6.)With the floor jack, slowly lower the chassis to where you can slip the lower portion of the shock/coilover assembly on to the lower perch.
7.)Bolt down the lower perch.
8.)Install the spring hi/lo perch and spring.
9.)Mount the spring on the factory spring perch on the axle housing.
10.)Install the upper adjustable hi/lo spring perch above it (remove the rubber bump stops if they exist).
11.)Adjust the adjustable upper perch sleeve onto the spring to where you can still spin the spring with some effort.
12.)Lower the chassis and repeat the process on the other side.
