clutch pedal to master cylinder question

Post by GreatGorilla »

I'm doing a manual swap on my 86 and I noticed there was something that connects the clutch pedal to the master cylinder that I don't have. So I rigged up a battery terminal to hook it up. It works, but it doesn't feel all that safe :( I've looked around with no luck for that part and so my question is. Is there anything better I can use in its place, or a place where I can buy a replacement part for it?

It's a clevis pin. Just head to the jy and unscrew the clevis from the brake or clutch cylinder from another Toyota of the same decade.
